When spring arrives and the days extend, it’s the perfect time to organize your living space and refocus priorities. There’s the closets to go through and donate unwanted items to the local thrift store, or the bathroom products that need to be straightened out and purged. Before you start cleaning, take some time to reflect on your lifestyle and any changes you might like to implement. Have you been thinking about reducing your use of plastics or switching out your beauty supplies with all-natural options? What are you waiting for? Let’s get started simplifying our life together. Here are five easy steps to help you get started.

5 Easy Steps to Jump-Start Spring

1.Clean out the kitchen. Toss any expired food from the fridge and pantry before removing everything and disinfecting it. Come up with a system for organizing the food items. Look through your cabinets and donate any dishes or cooking tools that are no longer used.

2.Go through your closet. This includes your shoes, purses, and jewelry. Decide what you want to keep and what to donate. Clearing out this space will help you relax.

3.Figure out a beauty routine. Now is the time to throw away all those product samples and items you never use. Simplify your daily regime and stick to a consistent plan. Your skin will thank you.

4.Live the DIY lifestyle. Rather than running to the store to buy new cleaning supplies, try making your own. The recipes are straightforward and the ingredients can often be found already in your cabinets.

5.Simplify your social media accounts. Are you spending too much time on your smartphone? Use this season to detox from it. Instead, head outdoors or meet up with a friend for coffee.
