We sure love scrubs over here at Willow and Sage. Salt scrubs, sugar scrubs, body scrubs, facial scrubs — you name it, it’s graced the pages of our publication. There’s nothing quite like refreshing mint added to a scrub; it elevates the recipe and provides numerous benefits. Here are two of our favorite mint-themed scrubs from previous issues.

With a toddler and an infant at home, I am no stranger to unpleasant scents. Diaper pails, burp cloths, and stained clothing each bring with it a unique, foul aroma. A smelly diaper pail or trash can has the power to stink up the entire house, and sometimes, taking it out doesn’t remove the odor. These multipurpose deodorizer tabs are designed to sit at the bottom of the container and help keep the air smelling fresh.

As the holiday chaos calms and normal life reemerges, we often feel worn out and exhausted. While caffeine can do wonders for our energy levels when consumed, the caffeine found in coffee can also help improve your skin due to its numerous health benefits. Packed with antioxidants, coffee helps combat dull skin all while exfoliating and firming. When applied under the eyes, it can eliminate puffiness and dark circles, helping to brighten your appearance. It also helps to stimulate blood circulation and reduce swelling thanks to its anti-inflammatory nature. There are so many benefits when you include coffee in your skin-care routine.

There are several ways to do this; here, we highlight three simple options. Each one can be customized to suit your favorite scent blends.

Here in Southern California, moving from one season to the next happens subtly and often later in the year than other locations. In October and sometimes even November, 80- or 90-degree days aren’t unusual. When the weather does start to cool down and temperatures drop in the evenings, it’s a refreshing breath of cold air. To help encourage this transition in my home, I like to fill the rooms with cozy diffuser blends.
