Now that the holidays have come and gone, I am preparing to say goodbye to 2019 this week and hello to 2020. As the new decade begins, I am taking the time to reflect on the previous one and think ahead to what the next 10 years might look like. It’s a thrill to think how much has changed in that amount of time. It can be a difficult task recalling some experiences and emotions, but the ritual is helpful to process what’s been going on and how I might change or improve upon it moving forward. As we celebrate Thanksgiving this week, let’s remember to show ourselves some extra gratitude. Life becomes hectic with family members in town, pies to bake, and not to mention Christmas gifts to start purchasing. For me this year, I’m making a conscious effort to slow down and be present this week, and hopefully throughout the remaining year. Below are 25 ideas to say thank-you to yourself.
