We sure love scrubs over here at Willow and Sage. Salt scrubs, sugar scrubs, body scrubs, facial scrubs — you name it, it’s graced the pages of our publication. There’s nothing quite like refreshing mint added to a scrub; it elevates the recipe and provides numerous benefits. Here are two of our favorite mint-themed scrubs from previous issues.

You Will Need
• 4 cucumber slices
• ¾ cup white granulated sugar
• 2 TB. coconut oil, softened
• 8 drops peppermint essential oil
To Make
Place the cucumber slices in a blender, and puree until the peel looks like small flecks. Add the sugar and coconut oil, and blend together. Add the peppermint essential oil, and stir to combine. Store in an airtight jar, and keep in the refrigerator. Due to the fresh ingredients, this scrub is best used within a week.

You Will Need
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 TB. matcha powder
• 2 bags Moroccan mint tea
• 2½ TB. jojoba oil
• 3 drops peppermint essential oil (optional)
To Make
Combine the granulated sugar and match powder. Cut open two bags of Moroccan mint tea, and add the loose tea leaves to the sugar mixture. Add the jojoba oil, and mix well to thoroughly distribute. Add the peppermint essential oil, if desired. Store the scrub in an airtight jar in a dark, cool place.
Notes
Be sure to test the scrubs on a small area first, particularly if you have sensitive skin.
