The arrival of a new year presents the wonderful opportunity to refresh and rejuvenate. We love to consider our self-care routine and ways we can introduce new rituals for an intentionally calmer, stress-reducing lifestyle. Below are a few tips for refreshing your self-care routine this year!

5 Tips for Refreshing Your Self-Care Routine

1. Assess your current routine

Think about your current self-care routine and consider which steps are essential to your current lifestyle. The ways in which we practice self-care can evolve as we grow and find ourselves under new circumstances. Decide which part(s) of your self-care routine you’d like to maintain and if there are any you’d like to replace.

2. Try a New Hobby

Although many of us try to follow an orderly self-care routine, self-care can be sprinkled throughout the day too! Try a new hobby that evokes a sense of calm. Journaling, baking, reading, and crafts are a few options!

3. Create a Challenge

For a dash of fun, create a challenge for yourself. This could be anything from attempting 1 screenless day per month to making a homemade meal a certain amount of times a week.

4. Treat Yourself

Define the word “luxury” for yourself. Maybe it’s a bubble bath, decadent dessert, or a face mask. Incorporate your version of a treat into your routine.

5. Try a New Bath & Body Recipe

Not only is making your own bath & body products a fun hobby, but it guarantees that the ingredients absorbed by your skin are all-natural.
